The Jersey Seasons on April 29th

Recently, the Broadway musical Jersey Boys became an international hit and brought attention to the hits from the 1960s especially The Four Seasons. Backed by the fabulous Gem Tones and incorporating the look, instrumentation, and harmonies of the original Four Seasons, this group will bring back memories and songs like Sherry Baby, Walk Like a Man, Dawn, Rag Doll and Can’t Take My Eyes Off Of You with ease and the nostalgic flair of those years gone by. All of the instrumentation and vocal harmonies are performed LIVE and with no aid of tracks. Close your eyes and it’s Frankie Valli!

Beach Party Boys on May 13th

Beach Party Boys brings you the fun fun fun of California’s Summer Sun and the great music of The Beach Boys to life! The members of Beach Party Boys have played in other Beach Boys tribute shows over the last 25 years and have come together with the same goal in mind – to deliver a historical tribute to The Beach Boys and their fans. Audiences will be singing along to their favorites like Barbara Ann, Help Me Rhonda, Surfin’ USA, Fun Fun Fun Little Deuce Coupe, and Good Vibrations! If there ever was a Beach Boys tribute this is it!

If you do not wish to purchase tickets online, please email us at [email protected] to reserve your tickets. Please include your name and contact phone number as well as the number of tickets you wish to purchase. Emails for tickets will be accepted on a 1st come, 1st served basis.

Bala Legion supporting Operation Leave the Streets BehindAt the recent Ontario regional convention of the Royal Canadian Legion, members of Bala Legion Branch 424, President Royce Jarick, Ross Smith, Greig Foord and Fred Orchard presented a $2,000 donation in support of Operation: Leave the Streets Behind. This initiative is a Royal Canadian Legion program whose mission is “To ensure that every veteran who is homeless or near homeless finds the help they need to leave the streets behind.”

Through this program, homeless veterans receive rental assistance and help to ensure they have suitable and stable housing as well as medical assistance in the form of dental and vision assistance. To learn more about Operation: Leave the Streets Behind, please visit http://www.on.legion.ca/vetera…/homeless-veterans-assistance.
